Rave Financial Scholarship

Each year, Rave Financial awards ten scholarships for $2,500 each to members who are graduating high school and seeking higher education. Not a member? Not a problem! Membership is open to anyone who lives, works, worships, or attends school in Jefferson, Hardin, Orange, Jasper, Newton, Tyler, Chambers, Liberty, Galveston, Harris, Montgomery, San Jacinto, Polk, Angelina, San Augustine, and Sabine counties. Details and Eligibility

Be in good standing as a member of Rave Financial. Applicant must be the primary account holder of a Rave Financial share account in existence by March 6, 2026. Parents' or legal guardians' accounts are not sufficient.
Graduating high school senior from the 2025-2026 school year, seeking advanced education at an accredited higher education institution.
Submit Scholarship Application. (use the link below)
Submit a brief biography or resume outlining your personal goals. Use the link below and save as "LastName_FirstName-Bio."
Submit a 500 word minimum essay in response to the question below. Use the link below and save as "LastName_FirstName-Essay."
Deadline for scholarship submission is on or before March 6, 2026. Only one application per member allowed.
All essays will be reviewed for AI-generated content, and such responses will lower your score.

Essay Question

Reflecting on your personal experiences, discuss how the current economic climate or inflation has impacted your financial planning, saving, or spending habits. Identify key moments that have taught you valuable lessons, altered your perspective, or prompted you to adopt new strategies. Finally, consider how you plan to apply these insights and lessons as you look ahead to 2026.

We’re looking for authentic stories and real-life examples. Essays that sound overly polished or generic may not score as high as those that show personal experience and honest reflection.
